Video Journalist & Documentary Producer *
For two decades, Meredith Honig has traveled globally as a producer, director, and videographer, dedicated to illuminating overlooked human experiences from Mozambique villages to History Channel sets in Los Angeles.
Growing up between Texas and South Carolina fostered her appreciation for diverse perspectives. She refined her storytelling at Bennington College in Vermont, studying Theatre Arts and Education.
As Series Producer for "Battles BC," Meredith managed complex productions featuring greenscreen, live animals, and fight choreography, earning Writers Guild of America credits. In 2021, she produced "Finding Raffi," named "Best Podcast of 2022" by HuffPost, demonstrating her versatility across media.
While raising "three wild boys" in North Carolina, she's pursued documentary continuing education at the Duke Center for Documentary Studies and the Salt Institute at Maine College of Art & Design. Currently completing a Master's in Video Journalism at UNC Chapel Hill (expected Fall 2025), Meredith continues evolving as a storyteller.
Her work stands out for its ability to untangle complex human experiences—from documenting post-Hurricane Helene Appalachian communities to directing interviews for an inclusive dating show hosted by celebrity drag queen, Jujubee. Through technical expertise and genuine connection, Meredith crafts visual experiences that celebrate the human experience, striving to tell stories of the unknown.
